Our school may have to opportunity to receive a $25,000 grant for a hot lunch program from State Farm Neighborhood Assist. We are currently waiting to see if our cause is chosen as one of the Top 200 submissions to go to a round of voting on Facebook. This is where we will need your help. If we are chosen as a Top 200 cause, we need you to vote for our cause on Facebook as often as you can, up to 10 times a day. The Top 200 are chosen on April 28th and voting continues until May 17th. The incredible thing about this grant is that 40 of the 200 causes receive a $25,000 grant from State Farm. That means one in five! Surely with our strong community here at LCS we can rally behind the cause of a hot lunch program and get $25,000 for our school.
