Our season is about to kick off and not before time. Theres been a lot of activity through the NT and the Top End wont miss out. The past four days has been concentrated to the SW, which all the models and the bureau forecast. Lightning data has been prevalent in these areas. A steady increase to the east as humidity mixed. Katherine has its first taste of everything this afternoon and tonight as the trough shifts north. Itll be of interest to see the lightning data when I get home. Things should settle in nicely from now on and in essence be predictive until our first monsoon. Never seen it start so late so hopefully it wont be too weak a storm season.
