Our sincere apologies to a number of entrants. Yesterday afternoon we emailed two reader comments to the quarterfinalists and next 100-placing entrants and a single comment to all other entrants whose scripts were read three times during the first round. Unfortunately, we accidentally sent a second email to many single comment writers with a blank space for a second comment. That email was sent in error. Sorry for any confusion and for our mistake. We hope entrants will find the reader comments helpful. Although they were written specifically as part of the judging process and not as notes to the writers, we think the observations may be encouraging and could assist a writer contemplating another pass on a script. We are still discussing the possible future expansion of offering comments to entrants. Unfortunately, we have database issues that cause the task to be labor intensive and currently preclude us from distributing additional reader comments.
