Our small rescue is made up of volunteers. We all work, have families, homes and lives. The two admins here both work. One is a great asset to our group, works at our vet, and is only 19. I, am the founder and I spend as much time if not more answering emails, calls, etc for rescue as I do working or on my personal life. We both admin this page from our phones. We are so short volunteers, were lucky to answer our voice mails 3 times a week. Our fosters dont answer calls or process applications. While we have many volunteers all helping in different ways, we dont have a paid staff or secretary. Please be patient with us as were trying our best. That said, the care of our dogs will always come before voice mails, before updating our websites, etc. We have almost 30 dogs in foster homes. We also feed/water 16 owned/chained dogs in Detroit. We have only a few volunteers delivering food/supplies to foster homes from Redford to Mount Clemens to Wyandotte and everywhere in between. We have only one person overseeing vet care and grooming appts and transport on all our dogs. We take complaints in stride, although we also wish you to know that nobody gives more than our volunteers. Please be as patient with us as we are with our dogs.
