Our social maturity, peaceful nature and style as Busia county should not intimidate our brothers and sisters from fellow counties within Western province....we still remain committed to maintaining brotherhood and luhya culture. Whenever an event that collectively touches the Luhya brand is planned, always remember to involve everyone represented under the umbrella of western region. In Busia we enjoy a variety of performing artists whose genres seek to incline the rare Luhya culture...talk of Ochomin from Teso, Ongidi Vincent (Mama Mulayi) from Marachi, Nakhulo Omina from Samia and many more.... None of these artists from Busia county will be performing at the imminent cultural night dubbed "Luhya Night"... The big question is WHY? Are people from Busia county not Luhyas OR should we secede to "Busia province" and promote our own culture since we shall still remain content with what is ours??? #Tafakari hayo#
