Our social norms & prejudices has made us believe that some hobbies & professions are gender specific. We all have seen women knitting sweaters. It was the first time during Badrinath trip when I saw a man knitting a sweater very skillfully. Much perfectly than any women I had seen! It surprised me. I asked him why he is knitting a sweater. He told that he loves knitting and this is the only thing he knew to do. Also in Badrinath knitting sweaters was money making job, thus he made it as his profession. Iit is we who divide even hobbies… And it is God who has given skills without any division or bifurcation. :)
