Our son is almost 9 months post op from his left hemi and the past 2 weeks he is experiencing a lot of pain (this is what he says..but he is re-learning how to express himself with accurate words still, so not sure if he totally understands what sore vs. pain means) in his left leg, especially in his ankle. He wears an AFO on his ankle, but it seems to fit just fine so I dont think its that. Could it be just that he has new shoes and his body is adjusting to the better structure the shoes give (rather than the very broken down shoes he had been wearing)? He fatigues quickly when walking and uses his wheel chair as much as needed, but the past 2 days he walked a lot less and it still is really bothering him. He is also having tons of neck tension with horrible knotted muscles; all on his left shoulder/neck area. Ive done massage and hot baths...Im feeling a bit lost. Any suggestions or advice? Thank you!!!
