Our son showed us just how sweet and kind hearted he is yesterday. The kids are well aware of the hardships weve encountered this year and that money has been tight. Deana boxed a shirt we bought him in a pop tart box because we thought it would be funny to see how disappointed he was that he got pop tarts as a gift. As soon as he opened it he said Pop tarts?! My favorite flavor! Once he found out it was a joke we asked him why he was excited to get pop tarts, he said I thought that was all you could get me and I didnt want to hurt your feelings. Needless to say he and his sisters were very happy to find out that was indeed not the case. But the fact that he could be grateful for so little, really made me proud of the young man we are raising.
