Our song for today is an interesting oddity which was very popular at the Union back in the early and mid-90s. Originally released back in the late-50s (I think it was 1958), on 90s television it was adopted as the theme to possibly the most popular Guinness ad ever, and ushered in several years of silly dances on the Union dancefloor. :) I remember early one evening, before the crowd came in, I was playing this one for the bar staff, and Ciaran Caldwell, who was supposedly manning the doors, and (I think) Marty Doherty (who was supposed to be working behind the bar), were prancing around the dancefloor like two eejits, just like yer man in the Guinness ad. It was hilarious. :) For Ciaran and Marty (somebody get him on here, please...)
