Our spiritual fathers in the clergy always remind us to keep our faith alive and integrate it in our daily life. They never tire to encourage us to nourish our relationship with You, Beloved Lord. But in this modern time where Christianity is openly accepted, at times we lukewarmly practiced it and do not truly understand its depth. There are those who take it for granted or even totally ignore it. Help us, Sweet Jesus, to remember the sacrifices of Your Apostles and martyrs who died for You and the faith, how they had died to keep it alive. Help us to realize that it is a hard earned faith kept alive by the blood of so many just for us, men and women and children of today, to know about You and Your Good News for the salvation of our souls. As we connect with the roots of our faith make us realize and experience what made them willingly sacrifice so much so that we may value more the faith we have today and we may keep it burning for the generations to come with the same zeal as they have. As they passed the torch to us to keep it alive, may we not fail them, especially You, in passing it on to our children and in our household. Thank You, Sweet Jesus for those men and women whom Your have used to bring this faith to our present day. Thank You for this faith that we now have. Bless us and the whole Church for the sake of mankind. Amen.
