Our sporadic reminder regarding our rules of engagement regarding posts on the National Eczema Society page. If you are living with eczema or care for someone with eczema, sharing personal experience of what has/hasnt worked for you or them is completely acceptable (including your blog as long as it isnt soliciting sales) and partly what this page is for. Also, recognising that what works for one person doesnt necessarily work for another is VERY IMPORTANT given that eczema is such an individual condition. What is NOT ACCEPTABLE is where you are a seller/distributor/employee for a product/company and are in fact seeking sales. If you flood the page or posts by other people with comments of free/special offers for your product or ask people to inbox/message for more information we are sorry but it will lead to an automatic ban as we dont have the resources to delete the comments individually. The same will happen to anything/anyone that claims to have a (USUALLY VERY EXPENSIVE) CURE - there is NO KNOWN CURE for eczema; yes, there are ways of managing the condition, but claims of cures are UNACCEPTABLE. So, just to confirm, if you are an individual living with/caring for someone with eczema and you have found that XYZ sunscreen/emollient/moisturiser/shampoo, etc works for you/them, then that is great and we are more than happy for you to share that here. If you are selling it, we are not! We are not a free advertising page. Thank you for your patience and understanding and apologies that we have to repeat this message every few months. Christina, NES
