Our successive governments have failed to monitor the courses and lectures being taught in madrassas. Majority of madarrassas have erupted like mushrooms in 80s . Those are fanning the innocent brains. There is dire need that these madarrassas must be equipped by the faculty of the respective sects who are qualified in MA Islamic Studies, MA Arabic, MA Sharia etc - All bigger Madarrasas must have Phds from recognized universities . These qualified scholars should be the head/ dean of departments. There are thousands of Master and Phd degree holders in all sects of Islam. Are they not Ulema Karam???? Are they lesser scholar than Madarrasa qualified Ulema Karam. Are they lack vision as compare to that of present Molvis? I gave this proposal to General Zia ul Haq through some of his close aids , , but was rejected due to the reason that Madarrasa -scholars suit him- I may be wrong , but in my opinion : the univesity qualified Islamic scholars are more suitable than those of Madrassa- qualified molvis
