Our summer holiday art classes for kids start next week. While many of the classes are full, there are still a few places available in the following: DAY OF THE DEAD | 6 - 10 Years with Katie Smith Thu 29 January, 10am – 2:30pm A fun filled workshop where you will screen print a t-shirt and decorate a calico tote bag. We will also make some cool garlands to decorate your room, all with a fun Mexican Day of the Dead theme. Bring a light coloured cotton t-shirt. FEE: $40 --- MAKE IT FIT | 6 - 10 Years with Andrew Hall Fri 30 January, 10am – 2:30pm Piles of saved materials are waiting to be brought together to form weird and wonderful assemblages of the most unusual kind. Create creatures, machines, monsters, dogs, cats, birds, cars and anything else you can imagine. FEE: $40 --- MUGS N JUGS | 8 - 12 Years with Kairava Gullatz Thu 29 & Fri 30 January, 10am – 2:30pm Imagine having a set of mugs and a jug at home which look like beautiful birds. We can do it! During this class we will design and make colourful vessels inspired by New Zealand’s bird life. You will learn about clay modelling techniques including using a pottery wheel to throw small pots.
