Our thoughts and prayers go out to those devastated by the fire at the seniors home in Quebec. Prairie Valley Lodge was purpose built and our sprinkler system is fully serviced, inspected and operational throughout the entire building...including our storage areas. Our fire plan comprises of 5 staff being immediately available on site within minutes of an alarm. We carefully plan our fire drills and the Summerland Fire Chief inspects us every six months. We constantly monitor and update our fire plan according to the needs of our residents. Safety is our # 1 priority.
