Our thoughts tonight remain with the Evansville Police Department Officer involved in last nights incident on Walnut and Kentucky. The body-cam video is chilling to watch, but it is even more chilling to step into the mindset of the Officer who got out of his car in the middle of a situation presenting extreme danger. His actions were swift, brave, and ultimately couldve saved the lives of bystanders as these individuals chose to use shoot at each other. This is a stark reminder of the danger Police Officers face every day. We thank you all for your bravery, and are proud to work with you for the betterment of our community.
