Our time in Mumbai was too short. The interviews we shot for our documentary Being George Clooney were fantastic. The voice actors, adapters, and directors in Mumbai are expressive, soulful, and artful. Usually when we post photos on Facebook they are shots taken with a still camera on set. For this post we want to share what is called a screen grab - a still taken or grabbed from the actual footage shot by the RED Epic, which is the digital motion picture camera we use. The screen grab is of Rajesh Khattar, an actor, writer, entrepreneur, and voice artist. He is the Hindi voice (he also speaks three other languages) for Hollywood actors Johnny Depp and Robert Downey Jr., and several others. If youre familiar with those two actors you know that to dub them requires not just a beautiful and unique voice, but a certain panache - a larger than life flair. That is Rajesh.
