Our tourism industry will not develop if we continue to regard tourism as the celebration of festivals.We have are myths, legends and destinations that could daily as new experience to a visitor to Nigeria. He is believed to have disappeared into the ground instead of dying. Before he disappeared he told he people to pull the chain tied to his waist if the kingdom was invaded by enemies. Stories have it that some skeptics pulled the chain. Olowu appeared with his army only to discover there was no war. He therefore advised that on no account must the chain be pulled again and disappeared. However on a certain festive occasion a slave sent to the farm strolled to where the chain was hidden and pulled the chain. Olowu appeared with his soldiers in combat mood at killed countless people who where not ready for war. It took the effort of the then Olosi Osansanirin, who took his poisonous sword to confront and wound Olowu. Olowu and his army then disappeared once again into the ground. The chain tied to Olowu’s waist is still in Osi today and no one dares to pull it again. Would you like to find if this is true?
