Our trail maintainers have been hard at work! Last week (July 30th) eighteen went out to do trail maintenance. Two painted blazes between Tellico Gap and Rocky Top, three went from Deep Gap to Water Oak Gap and White Oak Stamp to clear blow downs (3) and then went to the Kimsey CreekTrail to clear a blow down, and the rest went to Winding Stair Gap building 75 feet of cribbing and 8 check steps, and cleared two blow downs. Last Wednesday (August 6th), we had another 18! one group went to Park Ridge and Park Creek to clear trails. The other group went to Winding Star Gap to tie up loose ends from the last two weeks work. Thank you for keeping the trails nice and clear for everyone to enjoy!
