Our transport, with our driver Alice, and her precious cargo has departed Mississippi heading north this morning ending on a happy note so many stories. This transport makes room in our southern homes for more rescues and we will be adding photos later on this week to our photo albums. Please keep an eye out for new faces. We do have some updates on recent pups! Calvin, the Shihtzu, had his surgery for his amputated tail and has come out of his shell personality-wise - he is a gem! Super sweet and LOVES squeeky toys and everybody! Baker has recovered from his leg surgery and has begun his heartworm treatment. Whoever adopts this labby mix is in for a treat. Cassie the terrier/schnauzer mix has gotten a clean bill of health and looks amazing, is so very sweet and is on her way to a healthy weight thanks to the love she received from her foster mom. A new rescue, Mack- a 8mo shepherd/cur mix,who has a deformed hip socket is having surgery this weekend. Wait until you see how handsome this boy is! Lucy, the sad Dogo Argentina, is gaining weight and is having another vet check this weekend to determine the course of her cancer treatment for her mammary tumors. Thank you for the love and support of our dogs and pups as they continue in their medical care and their ultimate journeys northward to New England homes.
