Our vacation last week was one of the best we ever experienced. It was quiet and peaceful, and I must honestly say it was spiritual. Jack and I truly enjoyed each others company without the distractions of everyday life. We get caught up in the beauty of creation and in Gods love for us. We appreciated the simpleness of time together. I truly believe it was because we invited someone to be with us on this trip. His name was Jesus. The night before we left, we asked those in our fellowship group to pray for traveling mercies for us. From the beginning we could feel his love and protection upon us. We were not on the road an hour yet when we felt this protection. I was fumbling with something and all of a sudden I felt the car swerving. I looked up and saw the vinyl roof from the car in front of us heading in our direction. Jack had to swerve quickly to get out of its path. I knew in an instant that God had taken control of that wheel. God had also removed the cars around us. There was no one else on the road when this happened. Our only words were Thank You God and I immediately went back to doing what I was doing before the incident and we continued on to what would be a beautiful week. During this week God truly showed us the importance of including Him in EVERYTHING we do. He made us realize that no situation was too small to make God a part of it. I am happy to say that we serve an awesome God who loves us more than we can ever imagine and that He is there for us whenever we call. Making God a part of your everyday life opens the door to so many blessings. Invite Him to be present in everything you do today. You wont be sorry you did.
