Our very own, Lucy Normann a young upcoming artist, wants to help the world with her artmaking. She is painting lips for Team Hot Lips, a fundraiser to help kiss leukemia goodbye. We are honoring Michael Daves, and his mother, Ashley Daves with this effort. Michael is a fine young man who built our gazebo here at the Art Center for his Eagle Scout project. Last year, while a senior at Bayside, he battled leukemia. His dreams were crushed to attend the Naval Academy, yet he found the strength to battle on and find a new path. He is doing well at Ole Miss, pursuing Civil Engineering! Lucy will be selling these lips for a donation at The Fairhope Store starting today. Each dollar in, counts as a vote for Ashley Daves to win mother of the year! We want to do our part for this fine family, they are all such fine contributors to our community!
