Our walks to the local bush have inspired an interest in frogs as we often hear them croaking in the nearby dams. This play space has been abuzz with creative activity and has really engaged the childrens imaginations as you will see in the following pictures. Together, the Silkwood children and I have been reading local field guides and The Green Guide Frogs to Australia to extend their explorations. We have also been using the Museum Victoria Field Guide to Victoria Fauna app to learn about different frogs, froglets and toads and hear their different calls. What a wonderful resource! The children and I have both been enthralled- learning alongside each other- we are partners in learning!
