Our weekend Family Motorbike Road Trip was a big success! What a wonderful adventure we had, with so much beauty and fun! Candidasa is truly a beautiful place, the drive magnificent (especially with the new roads!!). And White Sand Beach is my absolute favorite - it has been over 2 years since I really enjoyed being at the beach and swimming in the ocean (I felt like I was in Noosa) absolute joy - I did not want to leave!!! We had our room upgraded at the resort - so the accommodation was truly delicious! We had an amazing dinner with friends at a jazz bar/restaurant called Vincents that was incredible and yesterday at the beach, we had the best Warung Food I have ever had (in fact I will rarely eat there), but this was fresh Dolpin Fish just caught and bought up to the warung, cooked over a fire with fresh veges - it was spectacular. We drove back non stop in just over 2 hours (Sheannah asleep on the back of the bike - tied onto Darryn with a sarong...eeek). Our affordable escape was awesome and we stayed easily to our modest budget!! Cant wait for the next adventure in a few weeks time...wonder where we will go???
