Our whole relationship with God is grace/faith. Grace is His ongoing attitude of undeserved favor toward us and the gracious actions that He takes on our behalf. Faith is our response to His very character, nature and being: which is of course grace. There is nothing more demeaning to our relationship with God than to reduce grace and faith to some kind of mechanical process devoid of relationship. Grace and faith are words that connote a you and me relationship.
