Our world first Meter Outage Notification (MON) system has been recognised as a winner for Innovation at the recent Australian Business Awards 2014. The award is high recognition for the MON system which identifies unplanned outages in advance of customers calling in the fault. The MON system manages customer faults and outage identification and restoration, utilising smart meter technology to notify the business of outages. The system helps identify voltage variations in a customer’s system, and is beneficial for customers as it assists in reducing the time customers are without power.
