Our youth look up to athletes as role models more than ever, and to preface, not one person who walks this earth, athlete or non-athlete, is perfect. However, I am continually disappointed lately in the behavior of athletes. Are we elevating our sports stars to ridiculous heights with ridiculous paychecks and they cannot handle the pressure, or they think they are above and beyond the realm of how to act properly? Its not only about domestic violence; its more than that. These individuals need more than money; they need help.
