Out On The Pike Friday, October 3, 2014 First of all I want to say that Im feeling somewhat better this morning. And seriously, I really am sick and tired of being sick and tired. Thanks to those of you who wished me well, Then, thanks Mary for helping me and taking care of me yesterday. The cats did their share of helping her by taking turns crawling into my lap, falling asleep, and burning me up. Hopefully its going to get better throughout the day. You know how your thumb feels the day after you hit it with the hammer? Yeah, thats kind of how it feels. 03:39, Cookie and I were standing in the driveway. Her nose is going a hundred miles an hour smelling the air. The sky is dark except for a bright moon in the shape of a slice of lemon. I was comfortable. When we went back out this morning is was warm, wet, and windy. I love rain, but we are going visiting in Noblesville today and Im not sure rain is going to be good. Believe it or not, for the last couple of days the cats have been good and have played no part of waking me. Thats not going to last for long, I can almost guarantee that. When I got out of bed the first thing I did was feed the little beast before they have time to start whining and grumbling. Gawain is outside somewhere, that was his choice. Even in the of winter he wants to be out there hunting and prowling around. Yes, all of our cats have been fixed, so no worries there. I guess hell eat when he is ready. Plans for the day are the visit for us. Our son is home for the next three days. When we get home there are bills to be paid, I did the checkbook yesterday, and the routine. Im thinking well keep the chickens in the coop today. It wouldnt hurt to let them out, the hawks wont be hunting, but there are other predators nearby. Coffee, I need another coffee. The morning coffee I have is Millstones Foglifter and it is far from lifting the mental fog from my brain today. Im not even close to being civilized yet. Yesterday I laid in my recliner and took my medicine like a good boy. I read, some from both books, and played video games. Mary took care of me, read, watched me play games, and then took a long afternoon nap. We are both reading the same books. We havent seen any new movies, and when the TV was on I dont think either of us watched it. We did watch the premiere of the new Gracepoint series starring David Tennant, a former Doctor Who. I liked the acting, they actors did a great job, but I was less than impressed with the story line. So, that is about it for the day. I need another cup of coffee, eat something, and get in the shower. Ill get some music up for you this morning but it might not be what you want to hear.
