It was my 26th birthday when the IBM Personal Computer was released. I was 34 when the Berlin Wall fell. I was 35 years old when the World Wide Web was announced to the public by Tim Berners-Lee . I was 36 when opperation Desert Storm was launched in Iraq. I was 45 years old on the dawn of the new millennium. I was 53 when the Large Hadron Collider was officially inaugurated. I was 54 when the longest annular solar eclipse of the 3rd millennium occured, and when Scientists announced that they had created a functional synthetic genome. I was 55 when the last Space Shuttle was launched, the Atlantis on flight STS-135 . I was 56 on the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, and Curiosity, the Mars Science Laboratory missions rover, successfully landed on Mars. I was 57 when Prince George of Cambridge was born. I was 58 when Viktor Yanukovych was removed from office as President of the Ukraine, and when the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeard en-route to Beijing , and Flight MH17 was shot down over Eastern Ukraine, and when Islam re-established a caliphate in Iraq. I have seen some real history of the World since I was born in 1955.
