Out of all the places we visited and events we attended on our U.S. trip, there are two that stand out for me: 1. Our first night stay at Homicide Hotel (dark stains on side of bottom mattress, wooden 2 x 4s for bed slats). 2. Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field. I am not a huge fan of MLB but the energy, excitement and pride exuding from the 37,000+ fans in attendance made me a Cubs fan. Tony Rogerson captured a portion of the Cubs winning theme song - the music stops and the fans continue to sing. I still get goosebumps every time I listen to it.
