Out of the endless ways people try to find reason, hope, sense of life through countless self-help books, different religions, not sure what they believe or if in fact they believe anything at all.... For me it is plain and clear, for I am a woman who has anchored her hope in the God of the Bible. I have turned to Jesus for a new life, hope, and salvation. I am not enticed by get-rich gimmicks, my soul is content with bread and bed, roof and family. I am not enticed by impromptu messiahs, I walk in confident pace of the wise and gentle Shepherd who leads me to still waters and green pastures. I am not tortured by fears of tomorrow, I face the future like a sea at rest. I do not despair over past shame, but rather rejoice in the grace of sins freely forgiven. I am not disillusioned by pain, I embrace the assurance tat God will surely use my suffering for redemption. I will not be destroyed by selfishness, but I will with Gods help, pour out Gods love to others.
