Out on the rob in your favourite store today? Like some of you I am a creature of habit going into favourite stores time after time as a shopper. And I guess quite observant which might be the answer to the real puzzle I have. When I visit two stores -big retail high street famous names - I usually see the same person "shopping".Indeed with one I am on first name terms and thereby discovered he is a store detective looking for shop lifters. But if I know that, what about those who like hardy perennials seem to visit and revisit the store.What is going on? An accepted "cat and mouse" game to play today, a lack of flexibility using a rota or simply an assumption that the potential thief will not know? I find that last one hard to fathom lol. Am I missing something? Are these detectives missing a lot?
