Out with the Legacy ladies today...Went to the Woodman Point Old Quarantine Station......for a start ..I HAD NEVER KNOWN IT WAS EVEN THERE...and I usually know of the historical places...was derelict but is being restored by a dedicated group of people.,,Earl (our guide ) was most interesting, the place has a great deal of history about it, some very sad stories and tales of ordinary people doing extraordinary things for their fellow human beings...nice morning tea and light lunch supplied by Earls wife Evelyn...a bus ride round the complex with Jim and Earl...all in all a very nice day out...DO go and check it out if you are a history buff ..(like me )......Tales of bygone days intrigue me and this was one of the best in our state for my money !!!
