Out with the old... The floor came out today of our renovator delight float.... And thats as far as the fun went!! The further we went the more we found wrong! Our weekend job is about to turn into a month job (kill me now)! And our poor neighbours will be sick of the yelling and screaming we keep doing every time something goes wrong, or someone almost loses a finger :/ On the plus side, when this is all done Rachel will end up with one solid float! So my message for today is.. If you have a float with a wooden floor check it monthly because when someone or your horse falls through it is not a pleasant thing! Check for rust because minor rust can turn into major rust in a matter of months thus weakening your floats floor/walls/etc. If you have an older float also check behind your padding on the walls, rust loves it behind there! Tomorrow we keep going! The window will be removed, bearings replaced, more rust removed and all wires pulled out to be replaced. I think NWER Oliver deserves a big pat on the back for doing all of this for us to ensure the safety on the road for our precious babies!
