Out yesterday walking…kind of humid for October. But the trees are beginning to turn and a fall beauty is settling in slowly. Here’s what I found: • One fellow not too keen on ObamaCare: “I simply don’t know how we can afford all of this stuff. • A lady who expressed this sentiment: “The country is just in a mess.” • And then this from a fellow sitting on his front porch with his grandchildren: “You know, I have never voted in my life. I just don’t think politicians give a (hoot) about us”. As I took him though the survey questions I ask, it was clear to me that he leans conservative. When I concluded he expressed to me that he just might decide to vote because I took the time to visit with him. That’s about as good as it gets. I then concluded the day at the NOVA GOP Indian-America Diwali Festival in Tysons Corner with Cathy Gillespie and Tim Hugo. These folks love America, liberty, and our system of free-enterprise. An honor to be with them!
