Outage Upadate for Craighead Electric Jonesboro, Ark. — June 6, 2014 5:00 pm — Just as power was being restored from the wind storm from yesterday, we get round two. Approximately 1000 members are without power up from 500 earlier today. Outages are concentrated in Lawrence and Craighead counties with scattered outages reported in Greene, Independence, and Poinsett Counties. Below are current outages per county: Craighead – 500 Greene – 20 Lawrence – 300 Poinsett –150 Randolph - 30 “Crews have worked hard for the last 36 hours straight to restore power,” said Brian Duncan, CEO of Craighead Electric. “Due to the additional outages and damage from the second storm, if you do not have power, it will be tomorrow before it will be restored.
