Outage Update for Craighead Electric Jonesboro, Ark. — June 5, 2014 9:00 pm — Craighead Electric Cooperative Corporation of Jonesboro reports that electric service to approximately 4000 members were without power in the peak of the storm. Approximately 1825 members remain without power in Greene, Lawrence, and Craighead counties with scattered outages reported in Crittenden, Independence, and Poinsett Counties. Craighead – 1330 Greene – 30 Lawrence – 230 Poinsett –185 Crittenden, Independence – 50 Approximately 50 poles are broke and majority of those are in the Bono, Hasbrook Road and Trumann areas. Crews will be working through out the night to restore the power. “We would like to stress, if you see a power line down to stay away, it could still be energized.” said Brian Duncan, CEO of Craighead Electric, “And please call the Craighead Electric outage number at 1-888-771-7772.
