Outcomes of the running meeting Wed 10th September. Organised Club running sessions will be as follows: Tues @ 19.15 in Clevedon at the junction of The Avenue and Holly Lane. An interval session aimed at increasing your anaerobic threshold, your endurance and building muscle strength. Tues @ 19.00 in Portishead meeting @ The lido, interval session with Portishead Running Club Thurs @ 19.30 in Portishead @ The Lido with PRC until the 25th September when PACTri will run separate sessions starting at 19.30 from Parish Wharf. Sunday @ 08.00 in Portishead meeting at parish Wharf for a long run of 10-12 miles plus at a steady pace. Sunday @ 08.30 in Clevedon meeting at Strode at 08.30 for a steady 6-8 miles plus. Opportunity to go longer if you want. Other: Advance training notice – it was thought that it would be a good idea to publish the intended run training sessions on our website, so that if you couldn’t make the club session you could still do the same session as your club mates, in your own time. Dr Jon to organise. Brick sessions – currently no organised sessions but maybe in the new year we could start some on an ad-hoc basis? Several people are willing to base their house as a start point and somewhere the bikes could be safely stored while we run. Watch this space. Flexibility training – Dr Jon suggested using one of our social evenings to regale us with the delights of stretching/maintaining flexibility …you all know how important it is!
