Outdoor Worlds timeline. 11:13am. The Grizzly story is getting a lot of attention on here and all over the rest of FB. I have had some time this morning to read through all the comments and I want to add my two cents worth. I went through an investigation with the feds 6 years ago when I killed a grizzly sow in the same area. These Hunters I assure you had a hundred different thought and feelings hit them all at the same time, no doubt adrenaline was pumping! I know this will piss some people off but these pictures are turning this into a trophy hunt! I am on your side here but according to the Game and fish and a few other comments this is still under investigation. The federal investigator that I packed 14 miles back in to the site of my incident had dead batteries in his camera. We used mine to take 50 + pictures of the carcass, the surrounding terrain, my single spent cartridge still exactly where it was ejected from my rifle laying in the dirt. During this time I made a comment about posing for a picture with the sow. WRONG thing to ask the feds during an investigation! He response was simple, Are we here to investigate a self defense or take pictures of a trophy hunt?? 12 hours later back at the truck he pulled my SD card, put it in his camera, downloaded everything, deleted the images except for a couple of a dead bear and give it back. I understand the excitement and the brush with death, I get it trust me! My tiny little opinion and piece of advise is take the pictures down and make sure what you post is consistent! Good luck!
