Outer Planets, Inner Moons Of Post 4 And one more topic as a related side show: Back to Venus ! First, take a look at the photo of Earth superimposed very close to Jupiter and the red spot. This photo serves to show just how big Jupiter is, and also serves to show just how big the hollow interior of Jupiter is. They say Venus is sort of a sister planet of Earth - about the same size as Earth; and mainstream science says that some kind of weirdness related to the greenhouse has effect took hold there because it is close to the sun and it is supposedly 800 degrees F on the surface. Then I heard that some of the ancients believed that Venus sprang from Jupiter ; and at first, Venus looked like a comet. This will be explained later. Also, one scientist Immanuel Velosisky claimed that the red spot on Jupiter is the scar where Venus exited. Why do I use the word exited? I will explain... Again, this is my theory and mine alone.( Isnt it nice to have an administrator who comes up with his own theories !) Why would a sizeable chunk of matter tear loose from a planet that was fully formed with a stable, working, aerodynamic profile? What would be the cause? There has to be a cause. This just doesnt make sense. If Venus tore loose from Jupiter in its formative stage, there would not have been a scar - it would equalized or healed early on. What I think happened is that Venus was an inner moon of Jupiter that was just too big. An orbital anomaly got started and eventually resulted in a bumping into another inner moon. Venus may have gotten bumped, or bumped into another inner moon. The orbits of both were altered, and Venus punched through the mostly gaseous shell of Jupiter, and Venus came out still intact !
