Outpouring of ash. Turrialba Volcano At dawn today November 13 Turrialba Volcano generated a strong emanation of ash. The eurpción was accompanied by a seismic signal. Ashfall in the Central Valley are reported. Turrialba Volcano on November 13, 2014: Exhalation of ash and gases today around 3 am A pilot Taca airline reported a cloud of gas and ash to the Civil Aviation Authority. The plane was headed to Panama and found the cloud shortly after 6 am south of the volcano, at an altitude between 12,000 and 14,000 feet altitude.
