Outside in the Cemetery today, a truck collecting the belongings of families to take them to the relocation site and people demolishing their own homes. The residents describe to us today that the whole thing is äll very peaceful.and organised. This is a huge answered prayer because we have seen the devastation to families with the same kind of project on the dump site just a few months ago. Inside our ministry base, a spontaneous thanksgiving celebration on what will most likely be the last Sunday our church will meet. Pastor Dodong and Ate Virgie, team leaders wanted to end with declaring the faithfulness of Christ to the church over all these years. Though there is much emotion that friends may no longer be so close to see each other, its a GOOD thing that this church is being spread out- what an opportunity for the people to go with the good news and hope of Jesus to those in their relocation sights unreached. The youth we work with in this community are spending this last week together enjoying each others company before they go their separate ways We would ask for prayer for our friends here who are going through much change, in particular the children and youth who have been born in the cemetery and have grown up together. We believe this relocation is a new and better beginning. We look forward with hope, as do the residents.
