Outside putting blankets on horses, Rebel kept eating the blanket. Now he is going on 5, so I figured Id be able to just slap last years blanket on him. Nope. Despite the fact Rebels blanket is Renos old blanket (back when Reno was 1200 lbs & hes 15.3 hands tall); its too small. I loosened ALL the straps out & it STILL wont fit him. Rebel is only 15.2 hands tall & a very slim 988 lbs. Hes built like a thoroughbred horse (which severely disappoints me) instead of the way hes bred. So now Rebel is wearing Sons old blanket. Its a little too long (Son was HUGE, 16.3 hand appaloosa with a LOT of TB blood) but otherwise fits him very well. He was so interested in all the time it was taking me to fit 2 different blankets, at one point he was wearing his new one correctly, and his old one on his head and neck. And people wonder why I love this horse. My stallion puts an awesome disposition on his foals. Rebel & Ty are going to make a great pair. They are both class clowns, lol!!
