Ovedje Ogborus recent declaration on Sunday for the Labour Party (LP) is a clear indication that the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) under his suzerainty is dead. Indeed, the late Senator Ewherido led the DPP into the APC merger leaving the carcass for Ogboru and others to dissect. Off course, they could not sustain the Party. However, his declaration for the Labour Party should be viewed as an ACT of SABOTAGE by the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) and indeed the Urhobo nation and Deltans in general as we cant afford to stay outside Government House for another eight years. The Urhobo Progress Union have directed her sons and daughters who are interested in contesting for the Governorship in 2015 to key into any one of the two major political parties. But, in his usual dictatorial way, Ogboru has once again ignored and disobeyed the directives of the apex body of the Urhobo nation. This same Ogboru is the luckiest Urhobo man ever whom Urhobo fought for in a period of 13 years without cash. Yet he wont obey a simple directive, lets see how far he can go with this ACT of disobedience. The prospect of a whole generation of supporters and leaders fading away in the ill ambition of one man and strapped undeservedly in a twenty four year run in the cold, will be too much not to resort to pulling all the stakes. The Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) must take a stand and stop the adventurer.
