Over 15 years ago, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis & severe neuropathy. I dealt w it for a decade & 5+ years ago, I went thru two years of 4 surgeries to remove my entire colon & construct a J Pouch from my other intestine. Soon after I fell & broke my hip & wrist & ended up having 4 surgeries on them over 3 years. I have tried every medicine, gone to dozens of doctors, endured every diet & subjected myself to every therapy known to man. During this last 5 years, I sleep 3-4 hours a nite due to the pain & discomfort & office visits. A night like tonight is not uncommon, one where I dont sleep a wink bc I am hurting so much. This post is not for sympathy at all, it is more of a fact finding mission. I feel my body spiraling away from me from the chronic stomach issues, chronic neuropathy n all my limbs & the chronic shingles behind my right eye. I just want to hear if anybody has anything that might b a new idea. Remember, I have dealt w this for a long time so dont give me things like drink more water as I clearly know that! I feel for my friends who live w chronic pain & I pray that one day we will b healed. It is so hard on our families & loved ones 2! Thx n advance for your time & concern!!! & dont bes mean( as Hudson says) to me today bc I might just bes mean back!
