Over 160 people gathered at Te Manawa Museum of Art, Science & History for the launch of Grant Smiths Mayoral campaign. Along with locally sourced beverages from Stewarts Craft Brewery, Pheasant Creek Wines and Foxton Fizz, we gave the crowd some of our favourite Pacific inspired canapes, which included Twice cooked pork belly with mango salsa and freshly grated coconut; homemade grissini wrapped in prodigal daughter longbush lardo with chilli salt; Panikeke Samoa injected with chocolate and chilli ganache; and you best believe it - Ika Mata sprinkled with freshly grated coconut.
