Over 80 people came out today to celebrate the Ribbon Cutting of Highland Rivers Healths NEW Recovery and Wellness Center in Ellijay, Gilmer County. Our primary care partner, Georgia Mountains Health was there to help us showcase the integrated clinic located within our facility. Speaker Ralston, keynote presenter, said I am fully committed to this movement of integrating our health partners together under one roof; so much so, that I have worked with the General Assembly to target new dollars to our area in order to support this work. Commissioner Berry from the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities shared remarks about the importance of our focus on Recovery and the strength and courage it took for a peer to share their story with the group today. A thank you to all who attended the event, your support meant so much to our staff and the individuals we serve!
