Over $800.000 may not be a lot of money, well maybe to a billion - TopicsExpress

Over $800.000 may not be a lot of money, well maybe to a billion dollar system its not, but to the custodians and maids who just lost their $12,000 a year jobs, that can add up to quite a few more jobs. So what makes that figure even more significant? Let me assure you that the voting majority of the former Memphis City School Board will not tell you, that being, Martavious Jones, Tomeka Hart, Patrice Robinson, Stephanie Gatewood and Sharon Sara PailnWebb, pun intended. Now back to that 800 Thousand gees. That was the combined water bill of all the former Memphis City Schools that didnt have to pay because in the city charter the water fees were waived for as long as MCS remained extant, that means, as an entity, for former students of MCS just is case. Once it, as an entity ceased to exist, the charter would not cover any replacement educational system. Meaning the additional $800,000 plus the new SCSS shall have to pay unless you as taxpayers want to burden that cost? Be carefully, unmitigated gall bordering on arrogance is somethings they are almost overdosed on and a disrespect for your political acumen is something many have only a sliver of respect for, not a silver of respect for The questions that are terribly troubling are why didnt any of the wise and brilliant composers of the surrender plan think of this? And if they they did why were you, the general and voting public, not informed as their constituents should have most definitely been? You see because like it or not it is going to cost you now. Knowing Jones with his degenerative, egotistical inferior archetypal tendencies, Ill forgo the other blatant ones he exudes, he will in all probability allege that in the big picture $800,000 was only a drop in the bucket. Well if almost a million dollars is but a drop anyone who thinks like that either is full of drops, Jones is not, or a fiduciary spigot or in Jones and Harts case Fire Hydrants, especially when it comes to giving their constituents tax dollars away. They have proven without a shadow of a doubt where their loyalties lay. Strangely enough many of them have already declared their intentions to continue to drape truth over lies and illusions with almost a certainty no one will remember or even remotely connect them to the largest give away since the the great compromises of the late 1800s when the republicans gave back virtually every right your ancestors had fought and died for. Just as in 1877 in one fell swoop of political prestidigitation would set the Negro up for later fights such as Jim Crowe, and later the freedom rides and courageous fights for desegregation that was later perverted to integration, Jones, Hart, Robinson, Gatewood and Webb has set so called black people up for virtual powerlessness, political and institutional scarcity and poverty unheralded in this Millennium! I write this without the intention of one scintilla of bluster and an iota of exaggeration, but with the stark evil reality that it and it authors and supporters so sadly represent.Over $800.000 may not be a lot of money, well to billion dollar systems its not, but to people who lose their $12,000 a year jobs, well that can add up to quite a few jobs.
