Over and over the word of God talks about being strangers in a foreign land and pilgrims passing through. Well, Im beginning to understand. Earlier, I was around others and as they were listening to their secular music I had a feeling of being out of place. Not to say that I feel superior to them. In fact, I was reminded that not too long ago I would have been perfectly in my element. But, as the apostle Paul said, and such WERE some you. The truth is now that this is not my home, I am just a traveler on my way home. I dont want to say that I wish God would go ahead and take me, I know He still has a purpose for me to fulfill here, and I pray that He will help me to get busy doing it. That being said, Im kinda homesick... Thank You Jesus for the home Youve gone to prepare for us. Help us to be patient for Your timing, in Jesus name.
