Over coffee this morning Keith said that at 4:15 this morning he thought about yelling out Get up!! Get up!! Santas been here!!!! (Lucky for him he didnt). But that brought back a flood of Christmas memories. Sitting there at the kitchen bar looking out into the room where it all happened for 13 years... I remembered Jimmy (with that famous grin) running into my bedroom --EVERY Christmas morning for 13 years, saying Wake up, wake up, Santas come!!! Of course, he was 7 years younger than I and he kept Santa alive for me. He loved Christmas. He loved life. Bittersweet morning for me as I sit and picture Jimmy and my mom and dad around that Christmas tree. But we were all smiling in that memory...so I smile now, even as tears roll down my face....
