Over on the open MT group, a practitioner asked: I´ve just got an email from the NCBTMB to watch a free webinar about Tam Healing and it literally says: Tam Healing Introductory Webinar Practitioners around the world are using the Tam Healing system to treat common conditions like Cancer, Parkinsons, organ problems, auto-immune problems, ALS, MS, inflammation and more. The healing methodology is very successful in these areas and is a great tool to add to your practice. I think he´s a LMT and he does some Tuina for my understanding. I want to know if anybody knows of any experience of anyone cured from Cancer, Parkinsons or ALS from this method. I found the claims very disturbing (I wrote an email back saying that as well) but I thought I would double check to see if there has been some miracles going around with this method. Thanks in advance The practitioner was exactly right to ask: s/he didnt think the claims sounded right, and so s/he checked them out. Thats what a professional does to advocate for clients. Im also interested in what this means for the NCB. They had made noises about cleaning up the snake oil classes they certify for massage continuing education, but they are being very secretive about their process for doing so, and what its based on. If they are even now sending out this kind of thing under their imprimatur, then their efforts to clean up their approval list are just spinning their wheels. Im disappointed, but not surprised.
